Adirondack Phantoms to hold Hudson Falls Night

phantoms1The Adirondack Phantoms have announced that November 1, 2013 is Hudson Falls night at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Phantoms play the Binghamton Senators at 7 pm. Tickets are just $13 for all Hudson Falls residents.

RESOLUTION

In Honor of Richard T. Monahan

Also known as “the Mayor of Clark Street”

 Upon motion made by Trustee Gallagher, seconded by Trustee Horrigan and carried

WHEREAS, the Hudson Falls Village Board of Trustees wishes to express its sorrow over the passing of Richard T. Monahan; and

WHEREAS, Richard Monahan’s passing leaves a deep feeling of sorrow for the loss of such an honored and respected citizen; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees is grateful for his many contributions to the community, and

WHEREAS, Richard Monahan was a dedicated businessman and an outstanding citizen in our community for many years,

NOW THEREFORE in recognition of Richard Monahan’s passing, the Village Board of Trustees hereby expresses its deep appreciation for his contributions to this community and extends to his family sincere sympathy upon his passing and it is

FURTHER RESOLVED that October 28th 2013 be declared “RICHARD T. MONAHAN DAY” in the Village of Hudson Falls.

Sandy Hill Days celebration set to kick off

Screen Shot 2013-09-06 at 9.44.10 AMOur annual Sandy Hill Days celebration kicks off  Friday and Saturday at Juckett and Paris parks. Events start with an arts and crafts festival at 2 p.m. Friday, and programs run through 10 p.m. at both parks. On Saturday, events run from 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
